Opportunities to make Shabbat special
We hope you will sign up to help with Friday night Oneg, Saturday afternoon Kiddush and/or welcome guests to services
A couple of quick notes:
- Please do your best to be on time.
- If you need to cancel, please return to this sign-up page and undo your sign-up as soon as possible.
- If you have questions about helping with the Oneg or Kiddush, please contact Ava Berinstein (ava135@comcast.net).
- If you have questions about greeting guests, please contact Audrey Kadis (askadis@alum.mit.edu).
New Information
-
Oneg volunteers: We have added a new time slot to sign up for clean-up. If you have a difficult time arriving to shul by 5:30pm, you can still play a vital role, and help the Oneg Leader by volunteering to clean-up.
-
Oneg Leaders: Please use the food on the designated “Oneg shelf” in the refrigerator, before buying items. If in doubt, please call (617-566-9477) or email Ava (ava135@comcast.net). There is always a stock of crackers, chips, pretzels, and/or pita bread, so there is no need to purchase those items.
-
Kiddush Leaders: We now order food from a wholesale delivery vendor. Most standard items that you need for your Kiddush are already stocked so you do not need to shop for them. Please contact Ava (ava135@comcast.net) when planning your menu so that any ingredients that you may need can be ordered (with two weeks advance notice, if possible).
If this is your first time volunteering PLEASE read the more detailed instructions.
